This hostel was perhaps the best one I've stayed in yet. The location is perfect right next to the river so it's easy to go for a stroll anytime. The restaurant and pool are very nice to have right there. There's a large air conditioned common area in their annex building across the street. It's a very convenient place to get work done in comfort without feeling like you're encroaching on anyone else's space. The dorm rooms are clean and spacious and the bathrooms are plentiful and kept fairly clean. There's more than enough staff there all the time to help out. I ended up going back and staying here three separate times during my time in Cambodia.
One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. The room was perfect, the bed was very comfortable and clean, there was air conditioning and the lockers are big enough for backpacks up to 60L. The bathrooms were very clean and smelled great. The restaurant has amazing food and drinks and the view is wonderful. The staff is super helpful and friendly. They were very professional and knowledgeable in helping me with booking activities. Also when there was an issue that someone took my slippers (from outside the room where you leave your shoes) the team did their best to help me. I would highly recommend staying here but be careful with your shoes ?
Amazing service, incredible employees. Awesome design, rooftop pool, impeccable cleanliness, extreme comfort, best location in the city, and fantastic value price. Onederz does everything right! Across the multiple Onederz locations I’ve stayed, they’re consistently probably the best-designed and managed hostel. My only complaint was the tendency of my bed neighbors to think they’re the center of the universe and that the middle of the night in an 18-person dormitory is a perfectly acceptable time to be shouting in loud Dutch to communicate. But the hostel itself is amazing !!! (although one more note for management, dorms don’t have autonomy over the temperature of the AC and on the one end of the 18-person dormitory where the weaker AC didn’t reach as well, it was a bit warm and thus hard to sleep)
I just love Onederz in Cambodia: you know you can count with a nice atmosphere, nice dorms and cleaning communal spaces. The rooftop bar was just fabulous and same for the pool (the infrastructure is just way above standard for a hostel). The location was great, you can walk to the royal palace and the riverside walk is just in front. For work, you can stay in the lobby which is always fairly calm and big area with several tables and seats. The staff was also really nice, always with a smile on their faces!
