Room was nice and clean, hotel lobby spacious and comfortable with reasonable prices for beer. The hotel is not in the best area as it’s a bit rundown however is within a stones throw from both train and metro stations which is convenient. Although some train noise can be heard from the room it didn’t bother us and didnt get too loud

I got a corner room indirect to the train station but the noise was quite loud.

Don't walk along the railway, there are a lot of homeless people.

The twin room was in a good size but the bathroom was tiny compared to other Japanese hotels. It's pretty much a kid size toilet.

Next to the train station, you hear every train
Paper thin walls, you hear everything inside the hotel (even the buzzing of your neighbours phone)
Service was terrible: the day before I asked for luggage forwarding service, which the person said I can do in the morning. In the morning the person said, this service is not provided.

If you’re looking to book a hotel room, your underlying assumptions are probably that you’ll be able to sleep and that you’ll feel safe. If so, this is not the hotel for you.

Yes, as the staff comments point out, it is very close to train lines. However, you will probably be on heightened mugging alert as you walk to and from the stations. And as some of the genuine reviews here note, the train (and other) noise is unreasonably loud in the rooms.

You can find much better for not too much more, in safer and less inconvenient areas.
