I liked staying at Nate‘s place. Everyone is nice and you can easily make friends, especially when staying longer. The hostel is cleaned VERY regularly. Rooms every day and the bathrooms and kitchen every couple of hours. The rooftop is amazing, you can even kind of see the harbour bridge. Everyday there is some kind of event that a lot of people actually participate in. The kitchen is too small and reliably gets way too hot every evening. Aviod cooking dinner there if you can. Fridge space is also an issue. The rooftop sadly closes at 10:30 pm every day. Especially in summer that feels a bit early. The beds are missing curtains in my opinion. Furthermore, the men‘s bathrooms are old and need renovating. Common areas could be bigger as they become very crowded in the evening and during bad weather. Lot’s of French people. Do with that information what you want.
Nate’s place has such a good vibe. It’s social, relaxed, and incredibly easy to meet people. The staff are friendly and the place is well maintained. There’s something going on every night, which makes it easy to get involved. It felt more like staying in a big shared house than in a hostel. Such a great choice if you want a fun and welcoming place to stay in Sydney!
Had the best stay at Nate's Place! The staff were lovely (and super accommodating when I locked myself out of my room) the rooms and common areas were super clean and the atmosphere was welcoming! It was cheap, centrally located and an overall very enjoyable experience! Will 100% stay again when I'm next in Sydney ??
Great location very close to the city. The rooms are very clean and neat. You get what you pay for with the rooms, which is very cheap and affordable which is perfect for a backpacker travelling Sydney like me. There were no surprises, and I hope to return to Nate’s and Sydney soon. Shoutout to the staff - Rosario was very cool and helpful!
