the best hotel experience, period. they are so welcoming to us, they also ask us what they need off the administration table, even when we are at the lounge they also offer us a FREE dinner after we asked if we can get some food anywhere outside the hotel. they say, "are you guys from overseas?" i said "yes". and then they just give us dinner just for free, only limited cuisines though. free water bottle, just ask them

I am really pleased to have spent 8 days at the Mercure Hotel, Xi'an Bell Tower Muslim Street, in February 2025. It has an amazing staff, led by the outstanding Mr. Fan Yu Gan (范玉干). They went above and beyond in helping guests, making their stay comfortable, and solving all sorts of situations one might encounter while traveling in China. The location is perfect, situated in the center of downtown Xi'an, adjacent to the famous Muslim Quarter—where one can indulge in all sorts of delicious and one-of-a-kind local foods. The room is equipped with ample modern conveniences for the guests' comfort, including a state-of-the-art toilet. The housekeeping service is impeccable. There’s also a well-equipped gym and a self-service laundry room. I was particularly impressed by the buffet breakfast, which offered a large variety of options and had a chef on duty cooking to the guests' liking. All in all, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel as a home away from home while exploring this ancient Chinese city.
