I stayed at Members Hotel in Taipei. The location was incredibly convenient, with markets and shops within walking distance. There’s also a 7/11 a few steps away. The rooms were really simple, nothing fancy, but comfortable. If you prioritize convenience and location over luxury, stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Edit: after further communications, the hotel has agreed to refund the booking fees. Updating the review to reflect this. This hotel profits off of their customer’s mistake. I booked a room for August, but when I checked confirmation, it was for a date in September. Despite the mistaken booking being more than a month away, the hotel refuse to give a cent of refund for cancellation, citing hotel policy. They showed they are driven by profit and disregard to the service they provide. This was a rough patch on our otherwise pleasant trip to Taiwan. Stay somewhere else that doesn’t stab you in the back like this

This hotel in at the fifth floor of a building. From the first impression when I arrive the ground floor lobby. It seems so old and not maintained well. However when I arrive fifth floors. The decoration looks good and it is surprise the room is big and comfortable. The room windows are facing the road side. But the sound proof is good. I sleep really well at night.

We got the room with 3 beds for a family vacation. There are several convenient stores near by to buy snacks and necessities. The hotel was roughly a 10 minutes walk away from the Taipei 101 building.
