I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Melbourne Marriott Hotel, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. The hotel’s central location made it incredibly convenient to explore the city, with major attractions just a short walk away. The room was spacious, elegantly furnished, and spotlessly clean, offering a comfortable retreat after long days of sightseeing and meetings. The overall ambiance of the hotel combined luxury with a welcoming atmosphere, making it a standout choice for both business and leisure travelers. Overall, I highly recommend the Melbourne Marriott Hotel for anyone visiting the area. It’s an excellent choice for a memorable and hassle-free stay in Melbourne.

The pool was fantastic… warm with stunning views. The sauna and spa were also great. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. The location isn’t ideal for public transport, as there are no trams from the city after a certain hour. We ended up taking an Uber from Crown, which worked out fine since it wasn’t a busy night.

We stayed at the Marriot over the Anzac weekend and recieved exceptional service from the moment we arrived. We want to thank all the staff but in particular Michelle Ha for her exceptional customer service. Michelle was extremely accommodating and helpful. I requested a surprise cake for my son who was celebrating his 10th birthday during our stay and Michelle ensured that not only did he receive a delicious cake but also wrote a beautiful personalised message which made my son's day a little bit more special. We were also checking out in the early hours of the morning, upon our request, Michelle promptly organised breakfast boxes to ensure we had a bite to eat on our journey back home. Michelle was friendly, helpful and very approachable at all times. Michelle, thank you for going above and beyond to ensure our stay at the Marriot was a memorable one!

Our family of four had a fantastic stay here for 3 nights. The double room we had was clean, large and couldn't fault it. The rooftop heated pool and spa bath is amazing (even in late May), the gym is great and our buffet breakfast included in our stay was was great - so many options of hot and cold items + fresh pastries. The sparkling wine on arrival was a nice touch too. I will say that after seeing some negative reviews from other guests, we were a little hesitant but those hesitations were put to bed as soon as we arrived and throughout our stay. If you're coming with a young family, the adjoining docklands precinct of shops, restaurants, takeaway, cafes and activity centres was perfect. As is the tram strop out front of the hotel that easily gets you to Southern Cross Station to get to the Skybus, Flinders Street Station and even to the MCG with three different tram services to get arou, as we thought it might be a little far away from the centre of the CBD, it was all but 5-10 minutes on the tram away. Staff were also very helpful and met our room requests for firmer pillows, wine glasses and even a slice of cake for one of our birthdays. Thanks to the Marriot team for an enjoyable stay that we'd definitely recommend to others.
