Top-notch service from reservation till departure. Special nod to Sheau Fung, Tofazzel & Ashok. Wonderfully secluded and isolated, which provided the calm and solitude I needed. Food was home cooked and very delicious - different menu daily. Try their homemade cakes which were amazing. Pricey though, and there are no other options nearby. One suggestion would be to have the kitchen open for selected items such as small bites, snacks and drinks, so we can purchase them in-between meals. Infrastructure is in need of an upgrade though, as the mostly wooden architecture is fraying, and some parts may cause safety concerns. Mosquitos are expected but it was unfortunately too many such that it distracted from the serenity. Weather is lovely outside but you'd be bitten within minutes. One suggestion is to plant more greens that attract mosquito predators like dragonflies (water lilies, cattails). The one small hiking trail is similarly full of mozzies, and besides that, it isn't very conducive for wandering as it isn't well-marked and seems more for workers to get about. A suggestion is to have a nice path from hilltop to foothills and that would really entice nature-lovers. All in all, it was a wonderful stay - thank you, Malihom.

We had the most amazing stay at Malihom. The location is so beautiful it's on the top of a hill, surrounded by nature, perfect for a chill and peaceful stay. Gorgeous pool to relax, loads of hammocks with incredible views and plenty of places to have for a walk. The food was absolutely incredible, some of the best food we had on our trip to Malaysia. Our room was beautiful and so comfortable. The staff are amazing, they go above and beyond. I couldn't recommend Malihom higher for a relaxing stay.

What a truly amazing place, so beautiful and tranquil with excellent staff who are very friendly and attentive. The food was so delicious, we had ordered dinner during their Christmas/new year special and it was so tasty and plentiful. Breakfast was really good too with coffee and tea included. The views are wonderful, the rooms are private and so nice to be up in amongst the trees overlooking the sea or close to a ledge overlooking the city - depending on the room you ask for. They also have a really nice infinity pool, it’s such a relaxing place, we had the best stay here. Would definitely recommend a night or two if you visit Penang. The road to get up to this isolated location is very winding/zigzag so make sure you don’t have too large or too low a car.

We stayed one night here. Warm welcomed staffs always put themselves in our shoes in terms of service. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Location is far away from the city, but it is exactly what we are looking for. We have had a great time there.

I ride from KL to Malihom with my wife, this place make you feel calm and refresh your mood, we stay for one night only but it was awesome, good staff they very welcoming peoples, if u coming by ur own vehicle its fun ride to up there but becareful as they mention, all smooth, just follow there instructions, im adding some video and photos u guys can check
