This is by far the best hostel experience I’ve had. Its has a really nice atmosphere and aesthetic, and they staff are very nice. Its very clean and comfortable and you have a lot more privacy when you’re staging in the dorms because they are “pods” not beds.

LyLo Auckland is hands down the best hostel I've ever stayed at. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming—I had an amazing time and met some truly wonderful people during my stay. The facilities are clean, modern, and well-organized, and the common areas make it really easy to connect with fellow travelers. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, especially Nacho and Natalia—they went above and beyond to make everyone feel at home. They’re true gems of the place! The only downside was the experience with one of the cleaning staff, Beatriz, who came across as quite rude and unhelpful, which was disappointing compared to how great the rest of the team was. Despite that, I would absolutely return and recommend LyLo Auckland to anyone looking for a great time in the city. Thanks for the unforgettable memories!

Hands down the best hostel I've ever been to! Different entertainments every night in the hostel bar, where they also serve good food and drinks. Hairdresser and massages, sports activities in the mornings. An absolutely spotless,fully equipped kitchen, impeccably clean rooms and bathrooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Only about 400 mtrs from the central bus station and city centre. It simply ticks all the boxes!

Just got back from a quick two-day trip to Auckland and stayed at LyLo. Such a smooth and easy experience. The space was clean, modern, and had everything I needed for a short stay. What really stood out was the staff — due to a last-minute delay with my incoming flight, they helped set me up with an extended stay without any hassle. Super accommodating and friendly. Definitely recommend if you’re after a convenient, budget-friendly option right in the heart of the city.
