From the moment we arrived, our experience at Luma Hotel was nothing short of magical! Nestled in the heart of Times Square, this hotel offers unbeatable convenience, breathtaking views, and world-class service. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure we felt at home. Our room was immaculate—modern, spacious, and boasting floor-to-ceiling windows that overlooked the dazzling lights of Times Square. Watching the city come to life from the comfort of our room was an unforgettable experience. The amenities were top-notch! The bar was very well stocked, the fitness center was well-equipped, and the on-site dining options were simply divine. Whether we needed recommendations for Broadway shows, dinner reservations, or just an extra pillow, the staff was always eager to assist with warm smiles. The location couldn’t be better! We were steps away from Broadway theaters, world-famous restaurants, and iconic attractions. Despite being in the heart of the action, our room was quiet and provided the perfect escape after a day of exploring. If you’re looking for luxury, comfort, and an unbeatable New York City experience, Luma Hotel is the place to stay. We can’t wait to return!
Already left a review on Trip advisor. The hotel is well placed in NY, close to a subway station where you can get almost all ways to visit NY, without having to get connection. Hotel is “small” but cosy and staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms, if you get one that doesn’t have a view on the street are very calm and you can sleep well without all the city noise, if you dont care about a view on a street looking at another building or side view on Bryant park. The restaurant and bar are quite small but the staff will get you good cocktails and drinks. Small attention, we got some chocolates in the room every evening when coming back. A good way to start relaxing after a day of visits
LUMA Hotel Times Square delivers on all fronts—location, comfort, and service—making it a standout choice for travelers looking for high-quality accommodation in Midtown Manhattan without the excessive price tag that many average hotels in NYC charge. Location: The hotel is superbly located—right in the heart of Midtown with easy access to major subway lines and just steps from Bryant Park, which offers a peaceful green escape amidst the city bustle. It's an ideal base for both business and leisure travelers. Rooms: The rooms are thoughtfully designed with modern touches that enhance the stay. From high-quality televisions to plentiful electrical connections and a Nespresso machine for that morning boost, everything feels polished and practical. Space, often a premium in New York, is well-considered here. Bathroom: The bathroom is equally impressive—stylish, clean, and stocked with high-end toiletries that elevate the overall experience. Staff: The service is one of the hotel’s strongest assets. The team is warm, welcoming, and highly responsive to any requests—making you feel well looked after from check-in to check-out. Facilities: A major highlight is complimentary access to a fully equipped Crunch gym, just a short two-minute walk away. This is a major perk for fitness-conscious guests wanting more than a token treadmill in a basement. Restaurant & Bar: The in-house restaurant and bar are of very high quality, serving excellent food and drinks in a stylish setting. However, bar service can be a little slow, particularly when it comes to pouring and general attentiveness—this is an area with room for improvement. Overall: It’s easy to see why LUMA is so highly rated. It strikes a rare balance in New York—delivering boutique charm, practical luxury, and excellent value. If the pricing remains at its current level, it’s a true standout in an otherwise overpriced market.
Wonderful hotel. We had the included breakfast. Got the cheap room so the view was facing other buildings and they made a square so light didn't travel down to us very well making the room dim without many of the lights on. Nice touches in the room like two included waters, white noise machine, an umbrella and coffee maker. I do wish the hotel had a lobby that you could chill in. The lobby is mostly bar/restaurant. Picked the hotel due to location and it did not disappoint. Easy walk with the luggage to Grand Central station to get on the LIRR to head back to JFK.
Our family had an amazing 8 night stay at the Luma! I don't know how you could pick a better hotel for a stay in NY. The location is perfect- within walking distance of shows; shopping, and many restaurants! And when you need to go further, many subway lines are within an easy walk. Our room was great- 2 king beds for our family of 3. The beds were so comfortable! The room was serviced daily by housekeeping, and everything was so clean! All the workers we encountered were friendly and efficient. We tried the buffet breakfast one morning and were not impressed with the selection or the quality, but there are places nearby to grab a bagel or sandwich. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
