The service at this hotel is so exceptional that it’s worth even more than the room price itself — it makes it easy to overlook the fact that the rooms are a bit dated and could use some renovation. If you’re planning to spend your days exploring Uluwatu and nearby areas, this is an ideal and very affordable option. The staff are incredibly polite and helpful. The rooms are equipped with everything you need, though there are a limited number of power outlets. Room service is available all night, and the food is genuinely delicious. Breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, and the team is always attentive and ready to assist. The hotel grounds are spacious and well-maintained. Some of the decorative ponds could be cleaner, but overall the environment is lovely. The first impression of the room might be mixed, but after a few days, the excellent service more than makes up for the shortcomings in the interior design.

Overall a lovely 2 night stay at Le Grande! Friendly, helpful and attentive staff. My room didn't seem very dated, it was clean and large and the air-conditioning worked totally fine. Le Grande hotel complex itself was aesthetically pleasing and large. It had more than 1 swimming pool so that's ideal if you want to go to the slightly quieter one. I mostly ate south east asian foods from the restaurant for lunch/ dinner which was of good quality. Breakfast buffet had a decent range of items to choose from too. The only thing I would change about the dining experience is the fact there is no air con in the seating area of the restaurant. As the hotel is located in a larger hotel complex, a car or scooter is definitely needed to get out and about but that isn't a massive expense. I'd recommend this hotel for solo and group travellers, certainly good value for money and a pleasant stay

Please don't read any 1,2,3 star reviews. This hotel is exceptional. When you walk into the reception there are plenty of staff welcoming you with a huge smile. If you have any problem they are always there for you. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. Plenty of space very comfortable beds and a TV in every room. Now the best thing about the hotel is the restaurant. We tried food in many places in Bali and I have to say the food in the hotel was the best. The variety of food for breakfast is great. You will always find something for you even if you're the fussiest person on the planet. After breakfast you can start ordering from the full menu till late evening. Maybe portions are not massive but the quality of the food is so impressive. One of the best hotels I ever stayed at. Highly recommended.
