Location is pretty convenient, walking distance to Bei men station and Xi Men Ding. It took us a while to get hold of the reception but turned out he was super nice and helpful! The only thing is it was a little confusing when getting to the hotel since the elevator looks a little dodgy but overall, great experience!

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was marred by several issues. While I understood that the room I booked was smaller, I didn't expect it to be poorly maintained.

The room was quite dusty, which was noticeable from the moment I walked in. However, the real horror was waking up to find mosquitoes in my room. It's unacceptable for a hotel to not take basic measures to prevent pests.

Given the room's size, I was willing to overlook the cramped space. However, the lack of maintenance and cleanliness made my stay uncomfortable.

I hope the hotel management takes these issues seriously and takes necessary steps to improve the cleanliness and maintenance of their rooms.

Budget-Friendly and Central – with a Few Notes to Keep in Mind

If you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay in the heart of Ximending and plan to be out and about most of the time, this place is a good option. But I’d also like to share a few honest thoughts about my experience.

First things first – the location can be tricky to find. Even our Klook driver had a hard time locating it. If you’re heading here, make sure to pin “Lavita Hotel” on your map. Once dropped off, look for Lion Bar, then ride the elevator up to the 10th floor – that’s where the hotel is located.

Check-in was fast and simple – just show your booking reference and passport. Initially, I was given a room with bathroom lights that kept flickering, possibly due to a power issue or circuit maintenance. There was also a minor water leak, but the staff responded quickly and moved me to a different room.

For the price, you really can’t ask for much more. The location is excellent for food hopping and shopping, with everything within walking distance. The staff are approachable, accommodating, and speak English, which is a huge plus. There’s even a snack bar with coffee, which is a nice touch.

Overall, it’s not a luxury stay, but if you’re a practical traveler looking for a good base in Ximending, this place works – just be sure to ask if you have any concerns. The team is responsive and willing to help.
