What a nice surprise… for 20 years that I travel in Korea I have lived in many hotels, luxurious contemporary but also “Stay” with kitchen and I do not know why I have never tried this historic hotel that is the “KOREANA HOTEL” thinking of an old-fashioned and dusty side…. But it is quite the opposite. A welcome that could not be more charming, elegant without ostentation… varied clientele… businessmen, large families, tourists… the rooms with their 70´ character are magnificently maintained, the bedding extraordinary, the bathrooms of the old marble palaces and stylish taps, note the spring water good to drink. and finally the breathtaking view of the city through large bay windows! The services of the restaurants are also very appetizing and a superb buffet lunch to try!… for sure I will come back and without delay I will check the dates in advance because this hotel is always full!

The location is the cream of the crop of this hotel. The metro and bus station is in short walking distance, as well as limousine bus to the airport. The hotel is wonderfully maintained, the room is spacious and the water pressure of the shower is strong and pleasant. Note: the picture is the view from our room. The gym facilities and sauna is also present in this hotel. And last but not least the staff is fluent in english and are very pleasant in their service. Thanks for the pleasant stay!

The hotel entrance gives off a sleek, modern vibe with its black facade and revolving doors—very city chic. Staff spoke English, which made things easier for tourists figuring their way around. But the vibe did a little time warp once we got to our room floor. The polished modern feel faded into a kind of faded grandeur—like the remnants of a once-glamorous era designed for the bougie elite of yesteryears. Not exactly the aesthetic of 2025, but hey, they’ve clearly put effort into keeping it all in good condition. Some corners look a bit tired, but everything was clean and well-maintained. Our room was spotless, and the bathroom—straight out of a 1970s royal suite—was surprisingly comfortable. Sure, there were signs of age, but the power shower more than made up for it. A proper blast of water pressure can fix almost anything. Bonus points for the gym—it was modern, well-equipped, and perfect for staying hot and snatched while on holiday. The in-house spa looked freshly refurbished and was a lovely way to soothe tired muscles, all for a very reasonable KRW 10,000. And let’s not forget the convenience: getting from Incheon Airport was a breeze thanks to the K Limousine bus, which dropped us right at the hotel’s front door. For the price and prime location, this place delivers where it counts.

Great location - just a short walk to Myeongdong, restaurants, cafes and convenient stores. The restaurant on the 1st floor is quite expensive, but the included breakfast is fresh and varied. The beds are comfy and the rooms are spacious. They have a self-service laundry.
