It was sufficient and good. We stayed in a 4 person room with a shared bathroom. The bedding was nice and warm. They also had a heater/ac. I suggest a bottom bunk since they can be a little wobbly getting into the top. The lockers in the room were smallish, but I was only there a night so wasn't a big deal. The lounge was nice, but chilly. They had some movies playing which was nice while you wait for people to get ready. Super close to the beach and a very good K BBQ place. I'd say a 10 or 15 min walk to the main throughfare in Haeundae. Have fun!

Definitely recommend Kimchee Guesthouse if you’re on a budget and looking for a perfect location to explore Haeundae Beach and surrounding areas. There’s an awesome communal area in the reception for meeting other travellers. I stayed in a private room and while it was more spacious than what I’ve seen in other hostels, which was great, the mattress was very uncomfortable and there was a lot of noise in the mornings… it is a hostel though, not a five star hotel.

One of my best stay in a hostel. The location is great, close to Haeundae beach, like 5 min walking distance, the price is good, the staff is very friendly, rooms are clean, personal bathroom in the room for 8 women. You can check in by yourself if you paid in advance and received the email. Otherwise check in is from 4 to 9pm.
