We loved our stay at Kata Interhous! The place is up the hill, mountains all aroud, quiet and very peaceful. We booked 2 nights on 'Booking' and extended our stay through the owner for another night because we loved it so much! The owner is a beautiful lady, super nice and professional. When we arrived we were told there were no double rooms with two beds, so she offered a room with a queen bed and a sofa which she turned into a bed with an extra mattress on top. It was very comfortable! (I traveled with my dad). There was always hot water in the shower. She works there all by herself, and it's booked fully almost non-stop. Every day she would clean our room and place fresh bottles of water and towels as needed, every time we saw her she was always smiling and nice! One day she took us to a massage place where we had the best massage ever - she goes there herself too - you should ask about it because it's not on google maps at the moment - and recommended a restaurant close by which was also perfect! Quiet, peaceful place, amazing jungle sounds at night (birds, cicadas? I'm not sure, but it's calming). It's close to all the beaches, there are at least two cafes on the hill just above it with better views than Karon Viewpoint, but staying there without a rented bike can be a bit inconvenient (worth it in my opinion). We loved this charming hotel on Phuket! It felt like a little retreat, with a lovely courtyard and a pool to relax in. The dining area on the second floor was perfect for morning coffee and fresh fruit. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and housekeeping did an excellent job. The owner is a kind and welcoming lady, always happy to help. The location is great, especially if you rent a scooter or car. Beautiful nature surrounds the area, and there are some fantastic cafés nearby. Highly recommend!
