good hostel, bed was comfy and spacious, rooms were clean but dark during the daytime - lighting could be better… Facilities wise: the bathrooms were clean and easy to use, there is a bar / rooftop where you can buy drinks and food, for those staying in the hostel you can access the “Happy House” in the basement, this is a small social space / kitchen - however there wasn’t really any cutlery / plates / mugs etc and it is not accessible during quiet hours (something i did not know so when i returned to get my food from the fridge I could not access it). I would recommend this hostel but if you’re looking for somewhere to cook your own food / hot drinks I would stay elsewhere.
I loved the friendly, welcoming atmosphere! :-D. And was surprised by how clean and well maintained everything was. But then again, the last time I was in a hostel was a long time ago, they used to feel like summer camp. The shared bathrooms & toilets were all very clean as well. I also loved how they organized things in the evening. You can join in if you want to. To my surprise, none of the noise from downstairs carried upstairs to the bedrooms so that was amazing! And he fact that I could decide if I wanted breakfast or not, in the morning and pay for it on the spot. I stayed in a 6 person girls room. The only downside was hat, the last two nights of my stay, there was an American girl sleeping across from my bunkbed who snored louder than a chainsaw, all night. But that is not Jo or Joe’s fault ?. What else….I loved that there was a metro station, right around the corner, making it really easy to go anywhere in Paris. I absolutely recommend!
Had a fun stay at Jo&Joe Paris Nation! The vibe was super relaxed and the team made all the difference! Everyone was friendly, helpful, and always ready with a smile. Great location and cool common areas too. Thanks to the staff for making it a memorable experience!
Excellent location, bus stop in front and metro station in the corner. Many places to eat open till late, markets and bars. The hostel itself was great, lovely staff, respectfully quiet, clean, few bathrooms and good shower, I didn’t need to wait for anything and also options for some pints and nice breakfast. I was very lucky with the girls I shared, all respectful in terms of noises and light. I highly recommend.
I only stayed one night, so can't comment on a lot. But staff were friendly & helpful. Female only room is fine, very spacious but feel they could have made better use of the space to add more facilities. The lighting was quite dark. Bathrooms clean, just needs attention to detail with repairs (broken tap etc). Only thing that ruined my night (which isn't the hostels fault) but the disrespect of someone checking in and unpacking their bags at 3am. Making no effort to be quiet.
