Umm Al Qura, Ash Shubaikah, Makkah 21955, Saudi Arabia
Just came back from 2-week-long Umrah trip. We stayed at this hotel for 11 nights. The hotel is very close to holy Kaaba. You can come back between the prayers and take a quick shower or nap if you need it. The rooms are very clean and the hotel constantly smells very pleasant. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I have to specifically mention about the evening shift of the Spice restaurant and their amazing manager Mahmoud because they truly deserve to be mentioned and remembered. They go above and beyond to keep the customers happy and well fed. Thank you brothers for helping us during our stay and leaving with great memories!
Alhamdulillah, stayed here at the beginning of April. Amazing hotel: great service, friendly staff, clean, spacious rooms, breakfast was plenty and very delicious. The shuttle service to and from Haram Shareef was very efficient although it’s a just a 6 minute walk to the Haram Shareef. The hotel’s service made our Umrah a brilliant experience. Recommend to anyone coming to perform their Umrah.
Excellent hotel. The reception staff including Mr Nasser and Ms Wajhdan are very helpful. My particular praise for the young staff member at the front of Spice Market restaurant Mr Ali who has exceptional customer service skills. Please pass on my gratitude to all. My only feedback for improvement is to separate the buffet for tour groups. When they arrive at the restaurant in large numbers, there isn’t much opportunity for us non-tour guests and the wait time is long.
Nice Hotel, Helpful Staff, and Tasty Breakfast Pros: • Overall, the hotel is quite good and comfortable. • It’s very clean — big thanks to Salah El Din for keeping everything spotless. • Room service was quick and responsive. Whatever we needed, they brought it right away. • The breakfast was really good with lots of options and great taste. • It’s close to the Haram, but you’ll need to take a shuttle bus to get there. • The staff were polite and helpful, especially Taif and Fatma from customer service. They were really kind and did everything they could to make us feel comfortable and happy. Cons: 1. When we checked in, we were given a room that already had people in it, which was quite awkward. We had to go back to the reception and get a different room. It felt a bit disorganized. 2. Some of the furniture is old and could use some maintenance. For example, the flush wasn’t working properly and the wardrobe light stayed on even when the door was closed. Small things, but worth fixing. 3. The shuttle service to the Haram was disappointing. There aren’t enough buses for the number of guests, and we ended up waiting over 20 minutes under the sun. Meanwhile, buses from nearby hotels like The Address came and went several times while we were still waiting. All in all, the hotel has a lot of potential, and the customer service — especially from Taif and Fatma — really makes a difference. They listen and genuinely try to help. With a bit more attention to organization and maintenance, this place could be even better.
