We enjoyed our stay here from Dec 27 to 30, 2025! We had a great first impression: welcomed by the hotel staff with jasmine necklace and refreshment drink, and we got an early check in. We also love the kid-friendly facilities/items: the swimming pool, the traditional games, and the bicycles that are equipped with toddler seat. While the services overall was great, I think it would be better if the food serving duration during lunch and dinner could be faster (typically the serving time was more than 30 minutes, even when it's less crowded). The room overall was comfy and we had a quality sleep there. I think the only item that needs to be improved is the drain on the bathtub, because even after we closed it, the water was still leaking so the level could not be maintained. I also personally love the architecture, where the main building which was inspired by Borobudur Temple, and the interior smoothly combines ethnic and contemporary style. Lastly, we had an enjoyable photo session with the hotel's photography services: Loft Moments. The photographer's vibe was positive and she was very friendly to us. The pictures are lovely and we're very thankful to have our core memories well-captured. Overall, we had a great stay. Highly recommended and would consider a repeat order in the future :)

Sunday brunch at Hyatt Jogja was an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious with a great variety of options, all well-prepared and beautifully presented. The service was excellent, very attentive, friendly, and professional, making us feel truly well taken care of. What made it even more special is that the brunch already included free access to the swimming pool, which was perfect for relaxing and enjoying quality time with family after the meal. The atmosphere was comfortable and family-friendly, making it a wonderful way to spend a Sunday. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy great food, great service, and a memorable family time in Jogja

Overall we had a fantastic experience during our stay in Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta. Starting from the check-in until our departure, there is not a thing that I could negatively say about Hyatt. We opted for the newer rooms, and I highly recommended that you do so. Their new room was flawless with comfy bed and the amenities that we needed. One our friend was actually not well and stayed an entire day in the room, and I think he enjoyed it very much. The area itself was quite large and you could rent out bicycles for free to roam around the place. But be warned the track could be a bit challenging since they have climbs and slopes. There are also activities should you wished to only stay within the hotel area. We tried the archery and afternoon yoga during our stay. And also do not forget to pool which is quite large with slides that is quite long. I missed on the sauna, cold and hot plunge pool, but my friend said that it is also an experience. Breakfast was quite great with various type of food. Service during breakfast was also great. Some of the area have their vintage charm, while I do see several spot that could use a refurbishment. If I want to be picky, the one facility that might need an improvement is their gym, which is quite small for me. But overall, like I said, a fantastic experience and will definitely come back.

Our very first stay at Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta was an absolute dream for our family. We wanted a peaceful escape away from the busy Malioboro area—and this resort delivered beyond expectations. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt special. The kids were welcomed with beautiful flower garlands, check-in was done while we sat comfortably, and feeding the fish in the huge pond instantly became a fun little adventure. This place is a paradise for families: a massive swimming pool with water slides, free floaties, playground, sand play area, table tennis, jogging track, and free bicycles. The kids swam for hours without getting bored, while we enjoyed the calm, green surroundings. There’s even a mini market on-site for quick snacks. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, the food was a great mix of Indonesian and Western options, and the complimentary professional photo (with a free frame!) was such a thoughtful bonus. Hands down, this is our Top No. 1 family stay so far. If you’re looking for a family-friendly resort in Yogyakarta that truly understands comfort and fun—this is it. 💚✨
