Stayed here for 10 days a couple of weeks ago and had a very pleasant stay. Surprised at the other reviews with comments about the staff. I found all staff I had interaction with to be pleasant and courteous. Room was comfortable and clean and housekeeping were efficient. Shop was pricey and our $15 a day did not go far and I was charged $5 for a package delivery but could deal with that. Overall we were satisfied with the hotel and would stay here again.

Everything about this hotel is great! The location, the friendliness I've read about rude people in reviews. We didn't have that experience. But do remember you are in New York. My only reason for giving 4 out of 5 stars is because they are not up front about the cost of the breakfast buffet. They don't tell you a price. It's a $60 meal per person, and it's a very mediocre continental breakfast. Don't get scammed. You will find MUCH better food around than the hotel restaurant. Rooms we clean, lobby clean, feel very safe in hotel.

Staff is nice to talk to. Lobby is decorated with dark brown color. Nice escalator in the lobby that's great for people who find it hard to do stairs. Room is nice but a little small for the price and needs updating. Nice big closet in the room. Hallways are very dark with low lighting and brown walls. The hotel has a nice market with lots of food and soda options. It's connected to Grand Central Station which is wonderful ??. I'd come back but I'd come during the winter February if it's not snowing. Cheaper price.
