I've stayed here twice now and it's a pretty good hotel with an excellent location in the Former French Concession. The rooms are comfortable, with a good number of outlets and plenty of space. The bathrooms are clean and well-appointed, with bottles of water replenished daily. The air-conditioning worked so-so the first time I stayed, but worked quite well the most recent time. Same with the Internet-worked so-so back in October of 2016, but in June of 2017, it was quite reliable. No VPN, so make sure you've got one if you need it. Front desk staff was efficient and helpful, and room staff were studious about making sure everything was taken care of. We used the laundry service, and it worked great. Location is fantastic-just a 5-minute walk to the South Shaanxi Station, which is in the basement of a really nice mall. You're also right near a lot of excellent restaurants, and within easy walking distance of nice areas of the Former French Concession.

The staff and service they provide is exceptionally wonderful—as someone who has a very limited Mandarin ability, I felt they helped me answer multiple questions and made my stay greatly accommodating. The hotel is across the street from a shopping center and rows of stores—great spot for getting a designer handbag or new shoes, grabbing some quick bites, ending the day at a cocktail bar.

Super clean very nice everything was good. Great location I was quite happy. Just makes me smile as Hojos as a kid was all about fried clam stripes and ice cream on road trips.

Good for business trip. Comfy bed with a clean room and friendly staff.
