165, Jalan Tun Sambanthan 4, Brickfields, 50470 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Spacious and clean, in fact very clean rooms. The location is great and all the staffs from front desk to housekeeping are super nice and helpful. I really like this place and will choose to stay here again when I return to KL.
Management keeps blocking room access despite full advance payment. We initially paid in full for 7 days and extended for another 7 days by making full payment via MakeMyTrip. However, they continue to block room access just to collect a 10 RM room tax each time. This shows a lack of trust in a customer who has already paid a 2000 RM advance for the next 10 days over a mere 10 RM. Rooms are good, and hot water is always available. However, the WiFi never works properly, making it a complete waste. Additionally, there is a persistent smoke smell in our floor corridor, making the stay uncomfortable.
I have stayed twice and the service was great. You can ask for extra pillow or iron and ironing board. Getting food was easy there are a few restaurants cafe nearby and walking distance (less than 10 minutes) to KL Sentral
I stayed in room 1005, a deluxe king room, and paid $29 nightly including the 10 ringgit tourist tax. The hotel collected an additional 100 ringgit security deposit which was returned in full. The room was fairly spacious and had one window which offered a view of KL Sentral. The decor, furnishings and fixtures were from a bygone era and in good working condition. The a/c kept the room well chilled, not much outside noise was heard and cleanliness was good. The sheets and towels were clean. TV content was limited to eight channels. The room WiFi was often painfully slow. The hotel cafe WiFi was a little faster. Housekeeping would have serviced the room daily had I so requested. Reception staff were polite and helpful.
