My wife and I enjoyed our recent stay. The room was comfy, AC worked great, the supplies in the room including water were plentiful. As mentioned previously the location is just perfect for Jonker Street without all the accompanying sound. Service is friendly for the most part. Only quibble, breakfast is mediocre and the coffee served is poor. Surely, the management can think of serving better local style coffee even if not the more western style espresso based ones. Beautifully done up, parts of the hotel could pass for a museum. We'll come back here on our next Melaka visit.

Wonderful stay on Tuesday night, off peak. Appreciate the early check in, late check out & Free parking nearby. The History room is interesting & the book about Tan Kim Seng is marvelous. I hope Puri could sell this book so that more people could have better understanding of the history of Melaka through the life of Mr Tan Kim Seng. It is a easy reading and helpful for me to appreciate Puri Hotel & understand Melaka with deeper insights. Thank you Vivienne for your wonderful gift to the younger generation. Every space of this hotel is marvelous and my favourite is the cool & green Garden where I could spend hours here contemplating the stories of people who once lived here over hundred years ago. The room is clean & cosy. A bidet in the bathroom & some local kuihs for breakfast would make Puri Hotel my top choice.
