Great hotel. Right opposite exit 8 of People’s Square metro station. Its exterior and interior art deco style makes it definitely unique. And the price for a Superior Double room was fair for what this hotel offers. Plenty of well placed marble.

Hotel was located in a very strategic place in Shanghai. Places to eat and to shop are all within walking distance of the hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. Kudos to one of the housekeepers, Xiao Ping for her assistance.

Rooms okay. Bathrooms are small. Breakfast average. Old furnitures and lifts. Compact corridor. Clean and tidy.

The marvelous historical hotel. Very beautiful, good located, comfortable bed, perfect pillows and mattress. You may open the window and enjoy sleeping with fresh air. Clean, well-equipped, you may feel the spirit of times here. The breakfast was delicious: mix of european and Chinese food. I loved this hotel. I found a book with historical photos of the hotel in my room- ot was very interesting and cute.
