Standard room has very basic set-up. Room is quiet. Bed is comfortable for me. TV & wifi signal good. Water pressure is good. Lighting is sufficient comfortable for reading. It has a small window that opens to the next building's wall, so there isn't any view. Generally clean & tidy. Walkable to many eateries & a food court. Plus points are no sewage & smoke smell. Note the following: 1) There's a morning market in front of hotel but is separated by a canal, so it's not too noisy or chaotic. However, you can smell some wet market stench once you walk out of hotel. Good thing is the smell lasts for the morning & goes away by late afternoon. 2) Standard room is a bit cramped. No mini fridge, safe, kettle, cups & hair dryer in room. 3) Furnishings look a bit dated & worn. Bedsheet & blanket cover appear shabby, with some stains & small holes. 4) A/C is not cold enough with inconsistent airflow. 5) TV is placed too high & at an odd angle that makes watching uncomfortable & neck-straining. 6) No shower partition causing whole bathroom wet after shower. Wash basin may be too small for comfort for some people. Either the bathroom exhaust system not working or there's none as it feels stuffy & humid in there. Visible mold & scum in bathroom. Febina & Dwia are helpful, friendly & smiley. Allowed half an hour early check-in time. Also they promptly provided any items being requested. Appreciate it much. Overall a 4-star from me. But 5-star for the staff's warmth & hospitality.

Bathroom turns into a swimming pool when taking a shower. Asked staff to fix it and it was less of a a swimming pool when showering. Had disco lights in my room but I left them off instead of complaining. My room was clean and quiet. Small but fairly modern. The collection of food to sell on the only table is annoying. Staff were friendly and the room was inexpensive. Would consider staying again.
