5 Rue de Lyon, 75012 Paris, France
We loved that it was quiet at night and we were able to sleep with the window open and hear the pigeons when we woke up. The staff was great! We needed to microwave food several nights and they were so helpful. The room was very comfortable and we had a king size bed. There were two of us traveling and we had two large suitcases each under the bathroom counter was a great place to slide a few under. The wardrobe was spacious for us to unpack. I would stay here again for sure and the access to public transportation was so convenient. There is a grocery store right across the street and down five minute walk a large grocery store.
The room is incredibly small. The pictures are taken in a way that makes it look bigger. We were shocked at how little space there is. Also the balcony is not a walk out balcony, the windows open enough for fresh air. One final note is the elevators are also tiny, do not bring a large bag. The plus side is the service is wonderful, from front desk, to maintenance and the breakfast service they are excellent. I only wish the rooms were either bigger or better represented in the advertisement.
Room 409, AC works great! Shower door was off rails and shower handle was ready to fall off. Fixed 2nd day we were there. Website states they have a fitness center, that is not true. Elevators very small, especially ‘old’ one, only room for 1 person and luggage. Wasn’t an issue, but just making everyone aware. Beds comfy and never ate at the $20 daily continental breakfast. Great location to our new favorite restaurant Nove and metro/trains.
Location to Gare de Lyon is great! Plenty of restaurants nearby as well as convenient stores. The breakfast options were decent and the rooms were nice and comfortable. There is a good bit of street noise early in the morning with deliveries from trucks to the nearby businesses, so, maybe ask for a room not facing the street. Pretty easy to get anywhere from this hotel via the train or uber. I visited all the tourist spots, Accor Arena, Normandy beaches, and Disneyland Paris form the hotel.
