We stayed at Hotel 81 Dickson during our recent trip to Singapore and would rate it 3 out of 5 stars. This hotel is a decent choice for budget travelers who are looking for a place just to sleep and freshen up, without expecting much in terms of space or luxury.

The rooms are extremely compact, with just enough space for a double bed and a small walkway. Most rooms do not have windows, which can feel a bit claustrophobic, especially for longer stays. However, the room had basic amenities like a hot water kettle, clean towels, and toiletries, which was appreciated. The air conditioning is centralized, so you can’t adjust the temperature or fan speed, which might be uncomfortable for some guests.

One of the best things about this hotel is its location—the nearest MRT station is within walking distance, making it very convenient to get around the city. We also liked that the hotel allowed us to store our luggage at the lobby free of charge after check-out, which is helpful if you have a late flight.

Check-in is at 3 PM, and check-out is strictly at 11 AM. The staff were polite and efficient, though service is quite minimal.

It's a 2 star budget hotel in little india. Very close to jalan beasr MRT. The location is very convenient and you have plenty of food options available near by.

Hotel is clean. Rooms are very small. I would not recommend this hotel to stay. Rooms are very small, not even a place to roam around. AC is centrally managed and it is not cold. Do not stay here unless there is no other option.

The hotel rooms have a very strong bad odor, especially the bathroom. Most rooms do not have a window. The room is very small. The location is great next to the MRT. There were constant loud noises in the hallway until about midnight every night. I would not recommend the hotel overall.
