Strategically located in the old town of Surabaya. It’s the colonial building that was built in the early twentieth century by the contractor named Hollanndsche Beton Maatschaij. The room, breakfast menus, and staff hospitality were amazing.

Charming Hotel with Great Service and Location – Highly Recommended! I had a fantastic stay at Horison Arcadia Heritage Surabaya! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the blend of classic Dutch colonial architecture and modern amenities. The hotel offers a comfortable and affordable experience, making it a perfect choice for anyone visiting Surabaya. Location: The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Surabaya, just a short walk to attractions like Jembatan Merah Plaza and Pasar Atom. It’s also easy to access public transportation, making it convenient to explore the city. Rooms & Comfort: My room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the essentials like free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and cable TV. The retro-classic style of the rooms added a unique charm, and I had a restful sleep throughout my stay. Service: The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, always ready to assist with a smile. Whether I needed recommendations or help with a special request, they made sure I felt welcome and well taken care of. Facilities: I enjoyed the variety of facilities offered at the hotel, including the on-site restaurant (great local and international dishes), fitness center, and spa. The hotel also offers meeting and event spaces, which would be perfect for business travelers. Final Thoughts: Horison Arcadia Heritage Surabaya combines a great location, comfortable rooms, and excellent service. It’s perfect for both leisure and business travelers, and I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Surabaya!

This is actually a VERY COOL hotel. As someone who LOVE vintage things, I really appriciate this place. From their historical front building, their vintage styled room, all took me back to the 90s to early 2000. The NOSTALGIA ?. When I was little, my grandpa and grandma used to take me travel and stayed at hotels. So hotels like these have a special place in my heart. Unfortunately, it looked like they really cut down the budget. Although they gave a very cheap rate for their room (not more than IDR 250K including breakfast), on WEEKENDS?? But the towels were not white anymore and felt thin (not like other hotel towels), the sheets had tough spots, and no shower cap. But I loveddd the lemongrass soap and shampoo, and they were in dispensers so less plastic waste. Hot water worked well despite the old shower head. And the AC was cold. Bed was comfy enough and pillows had no bad smell at all. The breakfast was really sad. It was nice when I stayed here around a couple of years ago. But this time it was worse. Not too many options and looked empty. Really felt like they didn't put much effort. Well, what do you expect for that price? And I understand they might be in a very tight budget. I noticed they added a "Mini Zoo" signage. A staff warned me that there were not many animals yet. But I decided to go see it. Turned out it was located in the side of the parking road (but outdoor), there were fishes and a big avian animal (like chicken but different, I don't know what it was). And there were some parakeets in two separate cages, but they were all dead ?? I told a staff and they quickly removed the dead birds. Good idea really, but poor execution. But anyways, location was top. Just a few meters across the street, there was a bus stop and you can hop on the Suroboyo Bus to go anywhere. And the hotel itself was in a main street of a hot destination (Old Town Surabaya), with historical buildings complex, also with the chinatown nearby. I really hope they can survive this economy storm. I really love this hotel ?.

Located in Kota Lama Surabaya. The night life is very lively there. It's an old building. The facility is also old but functioning well. AC is not cool enough, cable TV is enough. Room is clean, pillow and bed cover are clean, the toilet amenities are okay. Staffs are friendly, though no one is helping us with our luggage during check in and check out. Breakfast is good, but better to come early.
