I had a great stay at the hotel. The room is clean and neat. I had a good sleep. The reception staff are very helpful and polite. The breakfast line was great. I love the food. Very satisfied. Highly recommended for businessmen.

Stay for 2 Adults+2 children (11,7) Hotel: Holiday Inn Express Tangzhen Location: Metro Line 2 (light green line), direct from the airport. Alight at Tangzhen Station, Exit 2 or 3. The exits lead to a large shopping mall called Sunshine Paradise. Location Highlights: Excellent location, very convenient. Close to a large shopping mall called Sunshine paradise with a supermarket, Hey Tea, Family Mart, Hot Max, numerous restaurants, and McDonald's. At the same side of the hotel, there are more restaurants, a bakery, a supermarket, and a Decathlon store. Getting to the Hotel: Initially planned to take a Didi (ride-hailing app) due to cold weather and large luggage. However, the hotel was surprisingly close to the mall exit. It was an easy walk along the bridge with luggage. Hotel Experience: -Check-in lobby is small but has comfortable sofas and computers for information searches. Some staff members speak English, while others don't, but a translation device is available. Stayed in a Family Suite (1 king bed and 1 sofa bed with bedding). -The room was spacious and well-laid out, located at a corner, with ample space for 4 large suitcases, a small coffee table, and a work area. -?The bathroom was small and without a bathtub, but the water pressure was good. Toiletries provided were from the Tresemmé brand. -There are laundry and drying facilities on the 4th floor (discovered this late in the trip). ::-?Breakfast was included for 4 people. The variety of food was impressive (Xiao Long Bao, Chinese noodles with a made-to-order soup station, Western/Eastern breakfast options) and the menu changed daily. ::-The hotel offers a shuttle service to Disneyland, but we opted for Didi (around 200+ RMB). The hotel's location was chosen for its proximity to Disneyland and the airport. ::-For the return trip to the airport, a car was booked through Trip.com, which was about the same price as Didi and took approximately 30 minutes.✈️ Value and Perks: The room rate was very affordable (for a family suite with breakfast). ::Unlimited water bottles were a plus, with readily available plain water and hot ginger tea and chrysanthemum tea in bottles. ::If you have a Chinese phone number, you can use food delivery apps to order food to your room, delivered by a robot. ???

Great value for the money. The reception service was good. The room is greatly equipped. There is a laundry service as well. You can hear a little noise from the other room, but it is not that disturbing. The wifi was slow, luckily I can use my data.

It’s already second time we choose this hotel while staying in Shanghai. It’s worth every penny, quality is up to the high standards and breakfast is the best we had while traveling around China and staying at the other hotels. See you next time!

We had a really good experience with this Hotel. The positives : Very accessible from Pudong airport, easy access from Pudong airport, take line 2 exit 3 and walk for about 7mn by crossing a mini bridge. A lot of choices of food, shops and activities around the hotel, like a basketball court by decathlon just 50m behind. ATM just across the street. Free laundry. Good service and clean room. You have free water bottles in the reception, also free fruit salads and other drinks. Free umbrellas to use for 72h when it rains. The negatives : The missing of a mini bar, know that this is an express hotel concept, but still it was necessary for me. Can we have a Halal Food menu ? at least one written so we can be sure. Special gratitude to the hotel reception staff, the young people are very kind and careful, they were very helpful, they helped us to book a taxi in the early morning, and made sure that everything was ok. I fully recommend this hotel and I intend to come back to it for my next visit to Shanghai.
