I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Holiday Inn Jakarta Matraman during my visit to the city, and the experience surpassed my expectations in nearly every aspect. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm and attentive, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free check-in process. The room was spotless and thoughtfully designed, featuring comfortable bedding, modern amenities, and a lovely view. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping the room in top condition throughout my stay. A standout moment was the exceptional service provided by Mr. Anwar at the hotel buffet. When I noticed that some of the food had run out and asked if it would be replenished, he not only responded sincerely but personally brought the food to my table. He consistently checked in to ensure we were satisfied and offered assistance with anything we needed. Truly outstanding service! The only minor drawback was the hotel's distance from major shopping areas. Overall, I would absolutely choose to stay here again. Rating: 4.5/ 5

This hotel truly exceeded all my expectations. To start with, the breakfast here is absolutely the best I’ve had anywhere in Asia — incredibly delicious, with an amazing variety every morning. At times, it felt more like a gourmet restaurant than just a hotel breakfast. Every morning was a real culinary experience. The service was another highlight. The staff were exceptionally professional and attentive — honestly, even better than at some high-end resorts in Turkey. A special thank-you to Angelita from the dining area, who was always kind, attentive, and made sure all of my requests were taken care of with a smile. The housekeeping was consistently excellent. Every time I returned to my room, it was spotless and perfectly arranged. What stood out to me was that they always left the air conditioning on, so I came back to a cool, comfortable space — a small detail that made a big difference. The rooms themselves are new, fresh, and extremely clean. You can tell that great care is taken to maintain a high standard throughout the property. The location is also fantastic — a public transportation stop is just around the corner, making it easy to get anywhere. There’s a great steakhouse right across the street, and plenty of convenience stores, minimarkets, and a pharmacy nearby. It’s a very practical and comfortable area for both short and long stays. I’ve stayed at many hotels around the world, but this one will definitely stay in my memory for a long time, filled with warm and positive impressions of Jakarta. Highly recommended!

Great place for stopover in Jakarta as it is located in the center of Jakarta, close proximity to business district and central Jakarta. Room is clean and good size, shower and amenities is good standard in this Holiday inn express group, essential is available. Easy for getting something to eat in the area, walking distance. Free breakfast is good, various option, standard three stars hotel. I missed the porridge on this visit, replace with meatball soup. Good value as the price per night is around 25-35 USD/Night depending day of the week and extra discounted rate.

I had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Matraman. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit.
