Minerton Dr, Bulawayo
During a recent work trip to Bulawayo, I stayed at the Holiday Inn Bulawayo, and it exceeded all my expectations. Conveniently located near the city center, the hotel is also just a short walk from Ascot Shopping Centre, making it incredibly convenient for quick errands or dining outside the hotel. The facilities at the Holiday Inn are truly impressive. The restaurant and bar offer a warm and inviting atmosphere, with an excellent buffet for both breakfast and dinner. The wide selection of dishes was always fresh and delicious. The hotel also features a well-equipped gym, a refreshing swimming pool, and even a squash court, providing plenty of options for relaxation and fitness during my stay. The high-speed WiFi made it easy to stay connected for work, and as an IHG Rewards member, I enjoyed additional benefits that added great value to my visit. The staff were exceptional, delivering friendly and attentive service at every turn. Whether it was at the front desk, the restaurant, or housekeeping, they ensured my stay was comfortable and hassle-free. Holiday Inn Bulawayo is undoubtedly the best accommodation in the city, offering convenience, comfort, and top-notch service. I highly recommend it for both work trips and leisure stays.
Lovely hotel in the outskirts of Bulawayo CBD. Very clean and often quiet save for the weekends where they host various music shows. The food is always on point. Buffer breakfast with a mix of traditional foods and fresh fruits always complementing their standard English breakfast. Dinner also does not disappoint. The Holiday Inn Bulawayo serves fresh food cooked to perfection. I however was disappointed by their internet service. In 2025 i expected an easy to log in stable snd fast internet services. This was however far from the reality on the ground.
The room was clean and bright and quite spacious, and overlooked the pool, which was a lovely and peaceful view. The staff were amazing! The food in the restaurant was good, offering traditional menu items as well. I love sadza and greens and got to enjoy it with some oxtail. It was one of the best meals I'd had during my month long visit to Zimbabwe.
