I really enjoyed my stay here! The establishment is clean and the service is great. The women's bathrooms are well-kept and the rooms are in great condition. I traveled by myself, and the hostel environment helped me feel comfortable and not alone. I totally recommend it for someone looking to try something new but worthwhile.

Hi NYC Hostel: A Great First Hostel Experience As a first-time solo traveler, I was a bit nervous about staying in a hostel. However, my experience at Hi NYC Hostel was fantastic! Positive Aspects: Diverse and Friendly Community: I met so many interesting people from all over the world. The hostel fosters a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. Clean and Comfortable Accommodations: The rooms were clean and well-maintained. The curtains provided much-needed privacy. Excellent Facilities: The bathrooms were clean, and the hot showers were a welcome relief after a long day of exploring the city. Helpful and Friendly Staff: The staff members were always kind and accommodating, making my stay even more enjoyable.

Had a mostly good stay here for two nights. It's very close to the subway and central park which was very convenient. Staff were super friendly and helped me immediately with any problems I had. The room itself was okay. The locker was huge which I appreciated. The main issue is that the floor shook badly when people would walk or climb up a different bed bunk. It was to the point that any motion felt like someone was grabbed my bed and purposely shaking it. This made it a little difficult to fall asleep around bed time when others were coming in and out of the room. Other than that stuff, the rooms and bathrooms were everything you'd want from a hostel. There was even a cafe with plenty of common areas to sit and do some remote work/chat with others.

Everything was amazing! I decided to give hostels a try this time and it did not disappoint. Amazing location and affordable price for any solo travelers. I also participated the free Central Park tour and yoga class and both were really fun. I will come back again soon!

Professional and no hidden charges, but it was expensive in Summer. The staff tries to keeps things neat but most of the tenants are youngsters so expect un flushed toilets. AC is not so cool in most rooms, lockers are smaller in most rooms. Nothing got stolen. It would have been nice if the lockers were separated as its difficult to use them without waking others.
