Truly one of my best hotel stays. The Lion Boutique Hotel definitely stands out for its service and warm reception. We came in late October 2024. I arrived at 4am in the morning and the staff allowed me to sleep in their spa rooms before check in time for free. During checkin, we were greeted with welcome food and drinks, and the staff gave very detailed advice on places to visit in Hanoi. They also speak very good English. It was birthday and I was welcomed with beautiful room decorations, a birthday cake and celebrations during breakfast. Definitely enjoyed the spa too. Last but not least, we really felt welcomed by the staff and all of them were friendly and helpful. Thank you for the unforgettable experience and we will definitely come back if we revisit Hanoi!

I loved this hotel! I came in with a backpack looking worse for wear and felt a bit uneasy about coming into a fancy-looking hotel, but every single staff member made me feel so welcome. The service was exeptional. They helped me with recommendations on whatsapp through-out the day and were always on hand. The room was very comfortable, clean and modern. Also excellent location. Fantastic value for money, and I will come back if I'm ever in Hanoi again. Thank you guys for making my last night and day in Vietnam such a good one.

3.75 stars. About 1 block from the train street, and close to circle K convenience store and lots of restaurants. English speaking staff were friendly and helpful from beginning to end. Breakfast was varied and well prepared. Beef pho was delicious!!! Room was spacious but no window. Mattress was medium-ish (not good for people with back issues), varied assortment of pillows. Free fruit and water in room when I arrived, but you have to pay for the snacks and other drinks in fridge. Bathroom could have been cleaner, and my room (#206) was very loud. I could hear loud conversations, and even things happening in the lobby.

This place was a great find. We had a bad experience with our first hotel in Hanoi - black mold all over the bathroom- and walked into this hotel to see if we could get a room. They were so helpful and let us see a room prior to booking (very nice to assuage our mold worries from the previous hotel!) and showed us the facilities. They also matched the lowest price online. The rooms are very comfortable - especially the beds- and clean. Great breakfast with many options. The staff was very nice and attentive. It was also surprisingly quiet despite being such a central location in the old quarter. Small feedback I have is that the small fitness center could use some towels and supplies to wipe off equipment after use for cleanliness- but having a fitness room was a great feature to have. The rooms are showing a bit of small aging, so some minor painting could help. Overall a wonderfully comfortable stay, great location for walking to a lot of activities, and great service. We would certainly stay again.

Excellent location in Hanoi! The hotel offers easy access to the Old Quarter, the iconic Hanoi Railway Street, and a wide variety of delicious local cuisine. The room was exceptionally clean, with a great breakfast selection and reliable in-room service. The unique beer bathtub and spa experience truly set this place apart. I will definitely return for another vacation or business trip without a second thought.
