I would usually review a hotel such as this as 4 stars - nothing exceptional. However the service I received from Reception, and especially Theresa, was truly exceptional. When we asked if she could tell us how to travel to an area of street art, she not only provided a map but also detailed instructions of how to get there on the subway system, along with a recommendation of other sights nearby. AND when we returned she took a genuine interest in the photos we had taken. All in a very friendly and helpful way. Full marks Theresa :-) You have gained your hotel a 5 star rating :-)

Comfortable futon style beds in a large well designed room. Clean and presentable, with a good sized bathroom. The only negative for me was the single small piece of soap and a small bottle of shower gell provided. There is also limited hanging space for for towels on the bathroom. Breakfast is more than adequate.

Good location, 15mins to Liuhe Night Market. Staffs are friendly and quick enough to assist you. Room was clean but soundproof is the weakness of all the hotel in Taiwan. The toilet water pressure is big enough but the shower head has leaking of cold water. The only complaint was the design of the toilet basin. The water pressure/the design of the water tap/the water flow is way too strong. Even a simply hand wash will cause the water splash all over the toilet as well as my body/clothes. Overall is good and definitely will come back again!!!

Outstanding experience. I would choose this hotel again if I visit Kaohsiung again in the future. ?
