Green Rose Hotel

Stayed here for a week totally alone because I broke my foot and need easy access to Awal Bros hospital. The staffs were so helpful and they provided a wheelchair to take me from/to my room. They have lobby floor rooms available so it's easy for handicapped and older people. They have smart tv so I can entertain myself watching youtube for my entire stay.

Although the hotel looked impressive both on the website and from the outside, the rooms were far from satisfactory. The room I booked was supposed to include a bathtub as shown in the picture, but there wasn’t one. The carpet had rust stains, the spare pillows in plastic bags smelled terrible, the bedsheets were stained, and water splashed everywhere from the shower and toilet hose.

My parents' room had a clogged toilet, and it took hours for a mechanic to come. We were eventually moved to another room, as they mentioned one was available, but it wasn’t much better still plagued by splashing hoses and smelly pillows.

The 4th and 5th floors, which were advertised as having a lounge and breakfast area, were closed and blocked off, contrary to what was shown on the booking portals. The breakfast offered was just a single dish that changed daily, so we decided not to eat there after all the other inconveniences.

The hotel’s rating and price need to be lowered, and the pictures should be updated to reflect reality. Not recommended at all.

I have never written a bad review for a hotel before. But this time round I really have to because this place is really not worth your money.

The KTV and pub upstairs closes only at 2am. They cannot do anything and will not stop singing LOUDLY.

I can hear every single word they sing. The sound proof system in the room is ridiculously bad. The staff offered to change my room to level 1 after I complained. They came over to help asap and were very helpful and apologetic. However, I can still hear the music and this goes on till TWO AM.

This place is really not a hotel. If you don’t plan to have a good night sleep, this is a place for you.

Breakfast selection very bad. The person cooking eggs cannot even flip the egg over on the frying pan.

Poor soundproofing in the rooms, with KTV going on at night until past 11pm, which can be heard from the rooms very clearly. Breakfast is passable, but could be improved. Staff are generally polite and friendly overall.
