A very good hotel if you’re looking for comfort and affordability. The bed was ridiculously comfortable, so much so, I had to convince myself to leave the room. The view from the back of the hotel is not great, maybe the front is better. The hotel is in a area surrounded by pretty decent restaurants, so you have lots of food choices. It is a 2 minute walk away from a semi-upscale mall, if you’re interested in shopping. The Shanghai Metro line 1 is also really close. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. When I go back to Shanghai, I’ll probably stay here again. If you’re not too fussy about your hotels, and want one that just does the important things well, you should stay here too.
Great hotel for business visits away from the busy tourist area of the Bund. Hotel was very good, all staff friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and typical business style with a desk should you need it, plenty of space and convenience. TV has a few international stations if that important for you. Breakfast has a lot of choice, but predominantly local cuisine. Decent gym facilities. Locally there are lots of places to eat, and familiar coffee show brands. The blue frog American style burger / sports bar just opposite is a welcome break from some of the excellent local food. There also lots of stores close by and mall of you need them.
I have visited China for the first time for business purpose. Hotel location is in good area with lots of shopping and food outlets near by. Hotel Rooms are not so big. WiFi speed is average. TV channels are limited. Staff is good and supportive. Breakfast has lot many options but in my 15 days of stay I had to eat same breakfast everyday. Hotel has ATM and currency exchange inside.
I stayed at the Four Points for a business trip in Dec '24. The hotel's location is excellent situated inside an outdoor shopping plaza with lots of shops, coffee places and eateries. It is also close to a large indoor shopping centre with western brands mixed with mostly Chinese shops. The hotel itself was clean and modern, the bed was really comfortable. The only issue was the air conditioning did not allow me to make the room warmer so it was a little cold. Despite this I'll most likely be staying in the Four Points next time I'm in Shanghai.
