30 Ly Yoat Lay St. (172), Phnom Penh 12206, Cambodia
Travelled extensively solo, South East Asia, stayed at Floozys 4 weeks November 2024. Loved it, especially the kind caring and respectful staff, from cleaner, chefs, barstaff, easier, owner and his beautiful wife, and of course the bar/hostess ladies. No pressure to purchase drinks, beverages and food extremely affordable, and quality fresh cooked meals available 24 hours, they own neighboring Hollywood Bar, sane staff, fantastic, safe, un hassled fun. I'm coming back often if I can, highly recommend, please be respectful and friendly with the wonderful hardworking staff
I can’t really say anything about Floozy’s as a hotel, but I did eat here twice during a 12 day stay Phnom Penh, mostly because they’re one of the only 24-hour restaurants in town—excluding a number of Indian spots. The first night I ate here, it was arguably not great. I had fried pickles and a chimichanga. The fried pickles were bland and the chimichanga was a bit oily. However, the beef in the chimichanga had decent flavor, and the salsa it came with was decent. The next time I tried a chicken burger, which was surprisingly quite tasty. The chicken was good, the cheese was melty and complimented the meat well, and the fries were very nicely cooked and seasoned. I’d suggest getting a burger or chicken sandwich here! It’s in kind of a sketchy part of town, but it’s decent drunk food. I wouldn’t necessarily promote it as a great eatery, but it can come in handy when you’re wasted and starving.
Floozy's is a guesthouse located on St. 172, which has changed a lot over the past year since my last visit. The location is excellent -- lots of F&B / spa / entertainment options and easy transportation to and from the area. It is also, generally, quieter than staying closer to the main entertainment area in Riverside. I stayed five nights in a "big room" which was oversized with strong aircon, a comfortable bed and ridiculously strong water pressure. Having a 24/7 restaurant downstairs with aircon, good food and drinks was great, especially on mornings where I didn't want to go out and brave the heat. This is a family run establishment and everyone will go out of their way to assist you during your stay. Value for money here is fantastic and might be an especially good spot for those new to Phnom Penh as the American owner is very knowledgeable.
