I stayed at DT Surabaya some time ago. It was an amazing stay. Gorgeous property with great people who were extremely service oriented. The exec lounge has an extremely serene ambience and I loved visiting it. However, I would have preferred the food served during cocktail hours to be more of main dishes rather than just finger food. The finger food were often deep fried ones hence not really healthy. I compare the food serving with DT Jakarta which served more wholesome cooked food rather than just finger food. Hope this feedback could be taken into consideration.

The overall experience was great until the last day where a bottle of my Mancera perfume bottle was stolen. I bought about 11 bottles of perfume the day before and i arranged it at my bedside table so that I it is easy for me to pack. Come packing time i counted the bottles, one of the bottles was missing. And so i called customer service to report. Upon reporting, the hotel offered to search in my room, insinuating that i misplaced it. Of course i was insulted as they believed the cleaner that insisted he/ she did not take it. Anyways the hotel says that they are going to investigate further, but i am checking out first thing in the morning to catch a flight. SO BE CAREFUL WITH THIS DOUBLE TREE BRANCH. ALWAYS KEEP YOUR VALUABLES LOCKED. Little that I know a perfume can get stolen ? My first bad DoubleTree experience happens in Surabaya. So much of being a loyal customer UPDATE: As I was checking out, the hotel presented me with a replacement bottle of the same perfume. I must say that I am grateful and appreciate the kind hospitality and damage control by the hotel. WELL DONE ??

Exceptional Team Stay Experience – DoubleTree by Hilton Surabaya (4–7 May 2025) Our team recently stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Surabaya for a company trip, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the overall experience. From the moment we arrived on May 4th until our departure on May 7th, every aspect of our stay was seamless, comfortable, and enjoyable. The service was truly outstanding. The staff were consistently warm, attentive, and accommodating—making sure all our requests were handled promptly and professionally. The signature warm cookie upon check-in was a delightful welcome touch! The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed with modern amenities that ensured a restful stay for all team members. We particularly appreciated the comfortable bedding and panoramic views of the city skyline. The location of the hotel is also excellent, with easy access to local attractions, shopping and dining options (all within walking distance). Breakfast was a highlight each day, offering a generous and varied buffet spread that catered to different dietary preferences. The quality and presentation of the food exceeded our expectations with varieties of Indonesian traditional and western menu everyday. We sincerely thank the DoubleTree Surabaya team especially Ms Miranda for her hospitality and for helping make our team trip a memorable one from the beginning until checking out. We would highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure stays in Surabaya and look forward to returning in the future.

This was my second stay at the hotel, and this time we booked the Suite Deluxe King. After comparing both experiences, I honestly feel the regular Deluxe King offered better overall value — unless you really want the bonus of having a bathtub, the difference didn’t feel significant. Our room this time felt a bit dated, with some visible wear like a scraped carpet. It wasn’t a big issue for us personally, but considering this is part of the Hilton group, I did expect a slightly higher standard in terms of maintenance. That said, the highlights of our stay were absolutely the food and the gym. The dining experience — whether at the restaurants or through in-room service — was consistently excellent. Everything we ordered was delicious and arrived quickly. The gym? Total dream for fitness lovers. It’s well-equipped and had pretty much everything a gym junkie would need. Another favorite feature is the open deck terrace with its infinity pool — the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the atmosphere. I also want to give a special shoutout to the staff, especially the housekeeping team. They were incredibly friendly and attentive, which made our stay feel even more comfortable. Oh, and a major bonus point: the hotel is located right on Tunjungan Street, which means easy access to shops, local eats, and city vibes. Can’t beat the convenience!
