32 Preah Ang Duong St. (110), Phnom Penh, Cambodia
This is a very nice little restaurant which stays open very late for those customers finishing a night out in the Riverside area. I've been twice now, each time after 1:30am, and the service has been quick, professional and with everything ordered being delivered in big portion sizes. Last night I enjoyed the Chilli Chicken which was fresh and appropriately spicy, with a lot of flavour too. I ordered a side of French Fries which was absolutely massive, and thick cut too - delicious! Finally, I had a side of two vegetable samosas which were rich in flavour and with a nice texture due to the variety of vegetables in them (not just loaded with potato), and they were well cooked. I appreciate the quiet late-night atmosphere in here, as it is a guesthouse as well as a restaurant. This is maintained nicely by the gentlemen working here, who are very helpful, but also basically stay out of the way once you're served and leave you to enjoy your meal. It makes for a relaxing dining experience. All told, this is a nice little hidden gem, with a solid menu, and with a chef who is clearly very capable indeed. For $9.75 with a bottle of water thrown in as well, it's very affordable. My thanks to you all at Dhaka, and I look forward to seeing you again soon :-)
Nice Food and Management. I was very happy to come here
