The rooms need to be worked upon. Wash basin is outside the bathroom , so basically you brush or wash your hands in the main room. Bathroom is small and made of glass the water leaked out of the bathroom into the room. Breakfast was okayish. The best thing is the rooftop. You see the Buddha temple the hills. The view is amazing!! Also rooftop has dome shaped seatings that we enjoyed. They really need to work on the rooms and food.

We c/in on 30 may n stayed 2nights, housekeeping is poorly managed, 2 nitec stayed without provided with drinking water, 2nd night no toilet paper, no coffee kit & no soap/ shampoo been replace.?? The dovet was smelly of urine, request to FO & also told the bangla room attendant but yet no service provided until we checkout on 2 June, It's really bad review that's all we can say!! No recommendation for stay if being treated with this lousy experience laaa? I forsee there's no housekeeping supervisor to lead this poor manning team. I've work as hotel mgr for 28yrs, n nver seen suck a poor mgnt.system.

Very poor service from receptionist especially the chinese girl....they make mistake to give a room which haven't been cleaned yet to guest... and I don't understand what is the point for reservation,First time reservation in January tell me that you book on next day,not today....second time in April tell them check out date and they charge extra one night and blame guest that you didn't tell us your check out date and I can confirm that they didn't ask at all and we assume that we done reservation so should not have any issue on these....then what is the purpose for reservation as it happened twice,it is very shame when you provide such service....although location is strategic but think twice when you want to book hotel.  ...as service sucks

Everything is good EXCEPT for the Indian lady from front desk!!! I think you know who you are. Next time DO NOT repeat after your guest in front of them even though you think they speak lousy English, ok!!!! Because we can hear you loud and clear. Very unprofessional service as an hotel service staff. If hotel manager can see my review... Pls kindly look into this matter. Very unhappy stay with front desk staff like that.

p/s: when I further scrolled down on all the reviews, I found that many guests have the same complaints on the front desk staffs... Means that they really have attitude problems! So visitors going to DeView Hotel Penang... Be prepared!!!
