Fantastic character home. Close to Kaiapoi centre and golf course. Owner amazingly accommodating (pardon the pun) with regard to storing bikes while we stayed.

I had the pleasure of staying at Dalkeith Bed and Breakfast on 14 January 2023 It is a beautiful old home that has been restored. I had everything I needed. Loved the pillows, linen and the herbal teas. The breakfast was much more than I expected, Continental breakfast was included with lots of options of cereals juices and coffees and also I chose to have a cooked breakfast for an extra $15 which I enjoyed. A great place to get away and relax, I stayed in the 'Gold Room' it was nice and cosy

A fantastic first experience of Bed and Breakfast stays. The house is easily over 115yrs old, is beautifully restored and the period furniture is truly amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed my two night stay. This way better than staying in motels. I was made feel very welcome by the owner. I will definitely be back.

Had a great night here - easy communication with the owner by email and text, great location a short walk from the riverside and shops, very comfy bed and strong shower. Very welcoming of a toddler who managed not to break any of the gorgeous antiques and loved his extra banana at breakfast!

Great place to stay. We had 7 days in this beautiful old home, tastefully decorated & furnished. Julie was very hospitable, the rooms have everything required for a B & B. and all spotlessly clean. Breakfasts were just perfect for us (especially the rhubarb from the garden)
