Well located 4 star hotel. Reasonable rates given location. Rooms are a little tired, but staff are great and good amenities. Basic English spoken by most staff. Conveniently connected to a mall with various shops, eateries.

Being an ardent IHG traveller, and having stayed in Holiday Inn Nanjing Road, I had high expectations from this stay. The front desk was helpful and kind to provide us with a higher room upgrade - which was quite comfortable. However, the rooms do feel dated, the lifts were slow, and the shower design wasn't tidy. The biggest drawback for us was the breakfast. It just didn't feel like significant effort was put into the spread. Quality of fruits and baked goods were low, and the spread was the same everyday of our stay. Holiday Inn Nanjing road felt more premium than our experience here. Book this property for its proximity to the mall, eateries near by, and centralized location for sight seeing. Don't expect much from the breakfast spread/
