Only stayed for one night so we didn't have a chance to use the kitchen area, laundry, or other common facilities. Room was clean. Bathroom was quite small. Walls were thin. I appreciated the luggage storage with the provided lock.

Got a 5-person room at a great price (~35 per person per night). Our experience there was enjoyable. Hot water kettles are situated at the 7th floor / public kitchen. Shower was alright, though sometimes the heat got a bit patchy. Enjoyed the proximity to the Ryogoku station and multiple great food spots. Would recommend.

Nice hostel with good dormitory. Service is rather helpful. The only things that would make it better are : - bigger shelves for the upper bunk bed (with the current ones it's a bit tricky to have a phone loading, a water jar and a book for instance) - some lockers to store the suit cases. Currently you need to find some spot in the dorm to store them but, even though it is unlikely, anyone can have a look inside while you're not here. Also it would have been nice to let me have a shower on the morning even though the checkin was at 4pm : I had 15 hours of flight behind me and 7 hours of jetlag. Showering is quite refreshing in such condition.

This is a no-frills hostel -but we didn’t mind. It was clean and staff were friendly. The beds are Japanese standard pallet on top of a wood box -but we thought they were comfy. The bidet was A+ and it was lovely we had a table in the room. I really liked the shampoo/conditioner in the shower. My only complaint is that the sliding doors to the room are a little thin and I was worried about someone peeking through the crack. And, at one point, my husband left while I was still in bed, and someone tried to enter -but this could’ve been an honest mistake.
