Was greeted by amazing sunset view right at the entrance of the hotel when we arrive. Think they may have upgraded our room to one with beautiful borderless ocean view. Hotel building exterior looks old when we were driving towards it but lobby and room look very modern and bright. Parking is available at level 1 if ground floor is full. Entrance and exit of the level 1 parking lot looks a bit dangerous as it is single lane slope for cars coming from both directions but thankfully we did not encounter any cars coming in opposite directions when we drive in and out. Room is spacious and comfortable. There is self service laundry room but we did not use as it is a simple household standard washer cum dryer machine. All in all, it did surpass our expectations.
This relatively new hotel was a pleasure to stay. It is located by the sea and had plenty of eating options nearby. The view from the room towards the sea was calming and relaxing. Its room was comfortable and the bed was firmed. Room was clean and the minimalist decor made it very pleasant to stay. The staff was helpful and the location was convenient for travelling in that part of Jeju. Overall, a great hotel that met our family's expectations. Thank you for providing us a place.
About 700 metres from Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak with lots of eating options and supermarket Nonghyup within walking distance. The windy seafront just across the road is compensated by a splendid view and stunning sunsets. The hotel rooftop terrace has photoworthy shots of Seongsan peak. The only peeve was noisy KTV singing by tour group guests.
Kitty and I were on a cycling adventure around Jeju Island, tracing the Fantasy Bike Path, with a goal to reach the vibrant city of Jeju. We decided to take an anti-clockwise loop, and as we rode through the eastern part of the island, we stumbled upon a gem – CO-OP City Hotel Seongsan. Kitty, ever the meticulous planner, had cleverly included this hotel as one of our checkpoints. The hotel itself was a pleasant surprise. It's a 3-star hotel, but it felt much larger than expected, with spacious rooms that were perfect for accommodating our bikes after long days on the road. The hotel’s location was a bonus, just a short distance from a convenient store and a few great restaurants, including the amazing Geumdot Seongsan Black Pork. Plus, as shown on Google Maps, the hotel is conveniently located near the Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Peak) Trail, making it easy to enjoy a scenic hike. Stepping into our room, we were delighted by the views. The balcony offered breathtaking panoramas of Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Peak), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the surrounding coastline. Each morning, we woke up to the promise of another day filled with adventure. The hotel room was well-equipped, with heated toilet seats, a fantastic shower head, and a range of amenities, including shampoo and body wash. The thoughtful touches made us feel right at home. We were also impressed by the hotel's laundry facilities on the 5th floor and it's free of charge. You can simply buy detergent from the front desk and wash your clothes. We were initially told there wasn't a dryer function, but we were delighted to find out that the washing machine did provide a dryer service, and the dryer worked perfectly. We were able to catch up on laundry from the previous few days, a real bonus for those long cycling trips. And, perhaps the best surprise of all was the staff’s ability to speak English. In a country where English isn't as widely spoken, it was a huge relief to be able to communicate easily with the hotel staff. It made our stay even more comfortable and relaxed. CO-OP City Hotel Seongsan was much more than just a hotel. It was a home away from home, a place where we could rest, recharge, and prepare for the next leg of our adventure. It was the perfect base for exploring the beauty of Jeju Island, with its stunning coastal views, easy access to attractions, and a convenient location.
