92-1 Krung Thon Buri Road, Banglumpu-Lang, Klongsan, Bangkok 10600, Thailand
This is a smart, business-like hotel which is on a 24/7 noisy main road with a supermarket and local-style restaurants nearby. We mainly chose it precisely for it's proximity to good transport links though, but we did make sure to request a quiet room at the back. The 'top' floor bar and terrace are both charming and reasonably priced, if you can get anyone's attention to serve you. Pool area is kept clean although the water was very cold, no doubt due to always being in the shade. Service here is by table call-button and by contrast, is swift and efficient. Rooms are clean, no-nonsense and all have a generous balcony. Oddly, no furniture or seating is provided in order to enjoy it!? Also, the bedrooms have no mirrors in them, full length or otherwise, so there's only the bathroom vanity mirror with muted artificial lighting and no natural light. The doormen were either very attentive or ignored you whilst they were on their phones. Other than these odd annoyances, this would be a 5 star rating and remains a good all-rounder nonetheless.
This hotel offers great convenience, with the popular night market just a 3-minute drive away, as well as a nearby bus stop and train station for easy transportation access. There's also a 7-Eleven right next door, making it even more convenient for guests. The rooms are generally clean and comfortable, though there were a few minor issues upon arrival, such as a small amount of mould in the toilet and a stained bedsheet. However, these were just small inconveniences, and overall, the room was well-maintained and cozy. The receptionist staff were warm and accommodating, though a little bit of translation or reliance on Google Translate was needed to bridge the language barrier. One of the highlights of the hotel is definitely the pool – it's absolutely fantastic, offering a relaxing escape after a busy day. If you're into swimming, it's definitely a place you'll want to enjoy. The food was good, though on the pricier side. That said, dishes like the honey bread and carbonara were exceptional, making it worth the splurge. Plus, guests receive a 10% discount, which is a nice touch! Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to others, and I'll definitely be staying here again on my next conference trip. It’s a great combination of convenience, comfort, and service, making it a solid choice for both business and leisure stays. Hopefully, when I return, there will be a sauna to enjoy as well!
Every single team member, from the security guards to the cafe employees show such kindness and hospitality. The food at the cafe was unexpectedly great, with a pretty extensive menu and a wide range of craft coffee drinks. But it’s the staff that truly make this hotel so wonderful.
Door security is attentive, friendly and alert helping guests at all times. Receptionist, kind polite. I am grateful that I have chosen Cascade, it's the best hotel I have ever been
