Recently stayed at the Caravel Hotel. Must i say, originally finding hotels in Macau was super hard. I encountered the Caravel Hotel, a little skeptical of it being stated a two star hotel. 100% a solid 4 to 4.5 star hotel, offered with great staff experience, resplendent rooms and a room filled with essentials. The staff were super welcoming such as assisting us with our suitcases and the process smooth. This was a 2 day hotel, yet it felt like an everlasting experience; in a good way. My three kids were thrilled with the hotel experience and i thank the staff on my behalf. Thank you for a safe and comfortable experience. A hotel filled with endless memories.

Family room was pleasant, spacious, and clean. Only downside is the location which is in old Macao, so if you will tour the common tourist destinations such as Londoner, Parisian, etc, you will have to navigate which bus to take to get to the other side or better take the hop on hop off tour bus. The place around the hotel is also old residential and busy place, but generally clean streets and close to a bus stop.

It was a great stay in general, booked 2 rooms (a twin and a double bed), and stayed for a night while we explored the city. ? rooms were quiet at night, though I did spot that the door gaps were pretty huge, which would let out noise if anyone is to be noisy ?️ bed was comfortable, and generally clean ? loccitane toiletries were provided, water temperature was consistent, no bidet for the WC and the basin was built slightly too inwards - resulting in us having to lean quite a bit forward when using it. ?️ location was decent actually, quite a short bus ride to the hotel from the outer harbour, and its walking distance to the ruins and senado square A great stay overall, no complaints and would stay again in future ??

Caravel hotel was located a bit away from the main casino street, but pretty much good to walk around the tourist area tho. Room was clean and good sized, but really the one make this hotel special is hospitality from receptionist. Mr.Harvey was very kind and informative from check-in to check-out. He’s kindness made me feeling so welcomed in Macau, and it was the best part of staying at caravel hotel.
