Travelled and stayed for 2 nights during October 2024. Great price and location, less than 2 mins to Busan Train Station & Subway. Decent view from the rooftop terrace. Light sleepers beware as train tracks are nearby. I have no issue with it personally. They will help to store luggage if you check in or out early but it's just on the floor in front of reception.

Our group of 4 booked 2 rooms. While 1 was okay, the other had a very apparent smoking smell and the toilet would not flush. The night employee viewed the room, and then stated that he can provide us with air fresheners. Five minutes later, the employee stated that he cannot smell smoke. It was a very strong smell of cigarettes, confirmed by 3 of us. The employee then calls his superior, who stated that I must go through booking.com to receive my refund. I called booking.com, and it was approved on booking.com’s end, but had not yet been approved by the manager of the hotel. The next day, the manager was aware of the issue but did not address it by ignoring my reporting of complaints to the front desk, while the front desk employee also refused to contact the manager in charge. The employee additionally refused to provide me with the number or the name of the manager. Eventually, the employee confirmed that there is a new customer staying in this room. As the hotel is now making revenue from this room again, there was no reason for them to keep my money. I expressed this sentiment to the employee. Yet, the employee stated he has no authorization to confirm the refund, but also refused to call his superior.

The next day, I spoke to the night shift employee, asking if there is any update to the confirmation for the refund. He stated, again, that his boss is aware of the entire situation but allegedly no response still. He told us, repeatedly, that we have to discuss with booking.com to resolve the issue, not with hotel staff, despite us also saying that the request was already approved on booking.com’s end, and the hotel management simply needs to approve the request for a refund. We asked for written confirmation of us checking out the first night, as that would provide us with evidence. The employee said that he is neither trained or authorized to do this. He said he cannot provide proof that my 2 fellow companions checked out of said room. As such, we asked for the key card back, because, according to him, we still own the room. He refused to give back the key card. When asked why, he would not respond to us. He stated that he cannot help us anymore. To summarize, this hotel has taken our money, could not confirm that we left the room, and also will not give us the key card back. While we wouldn’t want the room anyway (due to the cigarette smell), we attempted to ask this in order to break down the employee’s logic. It did not make any sense to be unable to prove that we have checked out while also refusing to give us the key card to the room back. As per the day shift employee that day, there was obviously a new customer in this room.

We were ultimately out 250,000 KRW because they refused to acknowledge us, and an additional 450,000 KRW for a last minute booking in a different hotel for the two guests. Not to mention, the hotel also received revenue for a room that we paid for while also having new guests in said room. Absolutely awful customer service. Do not book here, and sidenote: avoid using booking services like booking.com.

Also stained linens sucked but that was small compared to the big ordeal.

The location has advantages and disadvantages since it's walking distance from the train station but the hotel front faces the train tracks and you can easily hear trains maneuvers. The good thing is it has a double window. Another very noisy thing is the toilet flush...you can awaken someone in Japan...the bed is ok and the cleaning can be improved. Very limited in English but helping staff in the reception. The room is huge.

Totally not recommended to stay in this place although is really near to busan station, the bed sheet is extremely dusty and dirty, and hairs are all around the bed, even we talked to the front desk to clean up, but still no take action at all. I rate it overall one star because it is really not worth the money to stay on a dirty place.
