Really nice people and helpful. Not all of them were fluent in English but we could figure it the way to communicate. A pretty good price too if you book it through some hotel booking website. Did not try the pool because we just spent most of our time in the city.

Moderate upscale hotel with a nice breakfast spread. Not luxury but ok for the price. Pool was closed, even non-smoking rooms smell like smoking. Staff doesn't speak English and is not trained well in hospitality.

Good, clean room. Good enough breakfast with Chinese, Western ( bacon, sausages, eggs, bread, cereal etc) cuisine Free wifi is Lip Service with 0.13Mbps download speed. Location isn't ideal in regards to public transport. You will need to use Didi to get around. No nearby shopping mall but plenty of mostly Chinese restaurants within 10 minutes walk. Limited convenience stores. This is the 'embassies' area in Beijing.
