ริมแม่น้ำกรุงเทพ 342 Trok Watrakhang Alley, Siriraj, Bangkok Noi, Bangkok 10700, Thailand
A beautiful hotel right along the riverside. We stayed in their panoramic room and it was gorgeous. There is a market just below the hotel, and a stellar massage place right next door. We grabbed food and snacks from the local markets & watched the sunset & sunrise from our balcony. The staff are so accommodating and kind. A definite must stay in Bangkok. Will stay again on my next trip!
We stayed for 1 night to end our beautiful trip of 1,5 months in Thailand. I booked the hotel because of the location on the river and the airport shuttle they offer. The mentioned airport shuttle on booking.com they don’t offer, it’s not included, it’s a normal taxi that the hotel can call for you (same price like a normal taxi). Only the suites and higher price rooms having a river view. The normal rooms don’t have a river view and for Thailand is their normal rooms way too overpriced for what it is.
Baan Wang Lang Riverside! ริมน้ำ Get ready for a riverside rendezvous that's as charming as a vintage postcard! ? Imagine a place where you can soak in the old-world vibes, watch the boats glide by, and feel like you've stepped back in time to a more relaxed era ?️?. Picture yourself strolling along the waterfront, feeling the gentle breeze on your face, and wondering if you should try some of the local street food (spoiler alert: you definitely should!) ?. You can explore the quaint shops, admire the traditional architecture, and maybe even spot a few hidden gems tucked away in the alleyways ??. It's a place where you can feel like you're starring in your own nostalgic travel movie! ? However, let’s be honest, sometimes "riverside charm" can feel a bit like a real-life game of "dodge the tourists," where you're trying to navigate the crowds while also trying to avoid getting your toes run over by a rogue suitcase ??. And while the atmosphere is undeniably enchanting, you might also find yourself questioning your ability to resist the urge to buy all the souvenirs, especially if you're a sucker for anything that's vintage or quirky ?️?. Overall, Baan Wang Lang Riverside offers a delightful and unique experience, a place where you can soak up the history, enjoy the riverside views, and maybe even find a new appreciation for the art of slow living, even if you sometimes feel like you’re participating in a synchronized stroll with a hundred other history buffs and vintage enthusiasts.
Amazing hotel, fantastic staff and great location. We had a 4 night stay in a riverfront room with great views of the grand palace, wat arun, Wat pho & of course the vibrant river itself. The staff were excellent, polite & helpful, always smiling, they made us feel very special. Bar and restaurant were good, breakfast was a little limited but dinner menu was great. Bar was busy every evening, especially around 7pm and the view of all the boats was amazing. Highly recommend this hotel and if you are going to stay pay the extra for a view.
Service, location, food, the market and the views - this is what keeps up coming back to Baan WangLang Riverside. We live and work in the region and coming to Baan WangLang always feels like the best way to relax in Bangkok. It’s right on the river with the best busy bustling local market with street food like no other market in the city. The hotel is friendly with impeccable service. They can arrange almost anything and we frequently have them hold our bags while we travel around to other locations. This might be our 6th (or 7th? Maybe more?) time at the Riverside. Don’t hesitate to stay here - the location is exactly what you want. The river taxi takes you everywhere in the day and a quick taxi ride over the bridge at night is easy. The views. Oh the views. Watching life on the river is captivating. The restaurant is perfect as well - filled nightly with trendy locals and a handful of tourists it serves delicious Thai food. I can’t say enough about it. *be sure to book a riverview or panorama room!
