302 Samdech Mongkol Iem St. (228), Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Best massage experience in Phnom Penh in my opinion. The petite masseuse is very masterful with a lot of different techniques. There was an emphasis on my shoulder and back muscles despite not informing of my desk job background.
Thank you for bringing Japan’s service standard to this country. We’re so pleased with our stay. Massage is the best in Cambodia in my opinion.
Wonderful staff service, good location and above all, the best Japanese-style breakfast. Each time I travel to Southeast Asia, I picture myself indulging in Azumaya breakfast. Yet I experienced a horrible night when the huge racket and bombing noise outside at midnight from a neighbouring hotel(or condo) sky bar. I could not sleep well and changed to an opposite side room. The staff service is amazing and good command of Japanese. I was also satisfied with the massage at a reasonable price and the masseuse’s technique. I'm expecting a quiet night. Except this downside,
Incredible price / quality ratio. Azumaya is located on a quiet sidestreet just a stone’s throw away from the action in BKK1 and an 8-10 minute tuktuk ride over to Riverside or Russian Market. The people at the front desk are gracious and helpful, the room is spotless, and the A/C and wifi are totally strong. Mr So, in particular, spoke excellent English and was extremely helpful during my stay - kind, polite, and a true gentleman. Also, I got a totally strong and professional massage here and it was inexpensive and very, very relaxing. I would certainly return and request masseuse "#3". Finally, the breakfast is better than in most Japanese restaurants. Plentiful, cooked to order, and top quality. If you want to take a bunch of selfies at a rooftop bar or are looking for a hipster something or boutique touches, you should look elsewhere. That’s not what this hotel offers. But if you are looking for a quiet, clean, and extremely comfortable place to stay with a world-class Japanese breakfast included, you can't find better. Oh - and - you get a can of beer, coke, and soda water for free in the minibar, and this is replenished daily. As is coffee and legit Japanese green tea. In short, the price - quality ratio is off the charts, and I will continue returning here, for sure.
