Not the best location, however, right next to a train station with brilliant connections to other areas of London. Room was a little small and couldn't get the heating to turn down when we first arrived, this was very uncomfortable as it was a very hot day and unable to open windows. We went out for the evening and it had been rectified by the time we got back by staff. We stayed for 2 nights and on arrival, the bed was decorated with petals and balloons as it was my birthday, plus Happy birthday wrote on the mirror, when we returned in the evening they had also left a little cake, it was a lovely touch and it made me very happy. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were very friendly. Loved the swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at this location. Very clean , super comfortable bed and great staff. Abigail was awesome at check-in. So many spaces to sit, chill and sip something refreshing. The tube was close by and the waterfront was as well. We found some great food spots within 1/2 mile. Would definitely again! ❤️

I stayed here recently for the London Marathon. The hotel itself was great. Clean rooms, nice common areas, and a fantastic bar and restaurant. The location was a bit away from some main tourist areas, but the train is directly next door and an easy ride to wherever you want to go. The staff during my stay was very friendly and accommodating. Prior to my stay was a different story. I did have multiple issues with my reservation prior to arriving. I booked nine months in advance and the hotel changed my reservation twice. They were very difficult to work to get the requested room that I had secured when I first booked. I was ultimately able get my original reservation after multiple phone calls and speaking to the management upon arrival.

One of the best perks is the convenient location near Royal Victoria Dock, with easy access to public transport and just steps away from the Excel Exhibition Centre. Overall, Aloft London Excel combines modern amenities, comfort, and convenience, making it a solid pick for both business and leisure travelers.
