Wow! I spent the night in an Australian prison. ? And it was GREAT! Definitely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in Australia. My hotel room was a 2 Bed 2Bath apartment with a full kitchen and a balcony. Crazy. Great breakfast. A bit on the outskirts of Melbourne but very close to where my meeting was going to be. Such an interesting place.

Probably one of the best hotels have stayed at in a while. Quiet. Comfortable. Perfect spot if you want to do the Pentridge Prison Tour. Plenty of car parks and easy access to restaurants etc. Price was incredibly reasonable for the quality of bedding, fittings, fixtures and amenities. 10 out of 10. Will definitely stay again.

I like that the hotel is built into the old prison and they've converted it into a bar, restaurant and function centre. The cells have been turned into cosy booths. It added the extra element of history and unique architecture that's been artfully incorporated in a modern and stylish way without destroying the history. I would have liked to have stayed longer to explore the this further.

What an amazing restoration inside the walls of this historical jail. The new unit building provides comfortable well appointed rooms. The old areas are photo worthy. Great way to revitalise this zone with shops and cafes and restaurants all attached.
